Feast on season 2 of Santa Clarita Diet from today

The Netflix comedy with the funniest scene featuring a stapler ever (I’m not kidding) is back: Santa Clarita Diet season 2 is hitting Netflix today (Mar 23). You can catch the trailer above.

Season 2 will take us back to the Southern California suburb of Santa Clarita, where the weather is good and the undead are… still adjusting to life among the living. We’re back again with Joel and Sheila Hammond (Timothy Olyphant and Drew Barrymore), husband and wife realtors leading somewhat boring lives with their daughter Abby (Liv Hewson). But Sheila undergoes a huge change … in dietary requirements, which helps the family get closer together.

Santa Clarita Diet Season 2

Netflix on what to expect in season 2:

Picking up right where we left off, Season 2 of Santa Clarita Diet finds the Hammonds trying to adapt to Sheila’s now-advanced undead state – even though she’s desperately working to hold on to her suburban lifestyle and not be defined as just another monster. Unfortunately – while the family has become markedly better at murder – the number of missing people in Santa Clarita is starting to pile up and it’s no longer going unnoticed.  Meanwhile, the Hammonds are chasing the source of the virus so they can stop it from spreading and save humanity – which seems important. Through it all, Sheila and Joel are grounded by their unconditional love for one another.  Sure, being undead – or loving someone who is – isn’t always easy, but don’t all relationships have their challenges?

Timothy Olyphant and Drew Barrymore were also recently in Bangkok to launch the new season and meet their fans on a (suitably) red carpet event! Very cute, and thankfully Sheila wasn’t too hungry?
