Workshop Wednesday: Kitbashed Battlewagon Part 3

Wow. It’s been a long time since my last Workshop Wednesday. In the intervening 6 months, I’ve been able to finish assembling my battlewagon (part 1 and part 2 here), and also to get some paint onto it. Unfortunately I was so excited in getting to be able to paint again that I don’t have very good process shots. :< Oh well, I've posted what photos I've got under the cut.

Most of the colour blocking for the battlewagon has already been done here. I’ve done a bit of colour modulation for the blues and the yellows. I airbrushed those, then finished up with hand painting the rest because it really doesn’t make any sense to do so much masking for such (relatively) small surface areas.

Here’s the turret and the front prow with the base metallics done.

And after a whoooole lot of shading, highlighting and weathering, here’s the finished piece. I have to admit I got a little bit of burnout from essentially building such a large model from scratch.

What do you guys think? More coming soon!
