Cravalho will be accompanied by producer Osnat Shurer and two Southeast Asian Disney animation artists – Singaporean Roger Lee (Lighting Artist) and Indonesian Griselda Sastrawinata (Visual Development Artist).

(However, it looks like you won’t be able to smell The Rock.)

At the event on Nov 9, the cast and crew will meet fans at the Marina Bay Sands festive light-up event on Nov 9 Wednesday, 8.15pm at ArtScience Museum. There will be an opening stage performance by the Polynesian TeVaka dance troupe, followed by a special light-up ceremony to kick off the festive season.

Sastrawinata will also be teaching fans how to draw characters from Moana at two drawing tutorials on Nov 9 – at 5.20pm or 6.20pm. Capacity is limited at the drawing tutorials; registration is on first come, first serve basis via http://disneymoana.asia/.

Meanwhile, Roger Lee will be conducting an animation workshop with Sastrawinata for digital animation, visual effects and motion graphics students from the Singapore Polytechnic; as well as beneficiaries from Marina Bay Sands’ designated charities as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility programme, Sands for Singapore.

Moana opens in Singapore Nov 24.
