If you spot anybody stumbling along Clarke Quay that might have been me after a long day at work, but come Halloween, zombies will lurch along the streets to celebrate the new season of The Walking Dead.
Set to take place from Oct 31 to Nov 2, Clarke Quay will transform into a zombie colony complete with walkers, games and live music. Focussed around Clarke Quay’s Fountain Square, scenes from The Walking Dead TV series will allow fans and party-goers to immerse themselves into the show, while interacting with walkers.
You will get to dive into a scavenger pit full of body parts, take part in walker shoot-outs, try your hand at guessing the “gruesome contents” of a scare box, get some zombie make-up on and snap some photos with friends at the photo booth.
Collect at least 3 out of 5 stamps at the various booths, and you will get to win The Walking Dead merchandise. (They might also check if you’re still alive.)
On Nov 2 – the final night – Khim Ng x The Mad Company will entertain you from 8pm to 11pm. Emcee Jeremy Yeo will also be there throughout all 3 nights with interactive stage games, and Yeo will host the annual Clarke Quay “Best Dressed” horror costume competition on Nov 2, at 10pm. The winner stands a chance to walk away S$160 worth of Clarke Quay dining vouchers.
The excitement will also spill out all around Clarke Quay, with many Halloween-themed parties concurrently taking place in venues such as Zouk (Fright Safari), The Riverhouse (The Haunted Mansion), Crossroads, Fclub x Attica SG, Get Juiced (Island of the Dolls) and more.

The Walking Dead S10 premieres Oct 7, Monday 9pm on FOX.
