It’s months away, but the guest list for the Singapore Toy, Game and Comic Convention (STGCC) 2015 is bursting at the seams! Following the double-plus-good news that Adam Hughes would be gracing the event this year, the pot has been sweetened with the additions of Marvel superstar Jim Cheung, cosplayers extraordinaire Stella Chuu, Saku and Kuryu & Nakoto, together with crowd favourites Adi Granov and Simone Legno.

What’s got me most excited, of course, is Jim Cheung. Known for his extremely detailed linework, the artist has been consistently great over the years, and it’s exciting to have him at STGCC for the first time. The Young Avengers artist also recently created the SDCC Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. poster.

Joining Jim is another fomer Marvel “Young Gun”, and definitely a fan favourite here, Adi Granov. Last here in 2013, he’s definitely going to be as busy this year as he was the last time – his commission slots sold out super early. On top of his recent Star Wars work, Adi’s also known for his “Renew Your Vows” cover that was exclusive in Singapore to Absolute Comics.

Also no strange to our shores, Simone Legno returns with a special SG50 item: The limited edition STGCC x tokidoki Unicorno. Only 1,000 pieces will be available, and they will cost S$30 each. Oh, but if you buy an STGCC VIP ticket, you’ll get one included in your gift package, no questions asked. Further details on how to get one will be revealed at a later date.

In the cosplay category, we have the “Anime Princess of Burlesque” Stella Chuu making her first visit to Asia. As Peter puts it, this is “quite the coup” for STGCC. Stella’s joined by cosplayers from Japan: Saku, and Kuryu & Nakoto, and all three are also making their first ever appearance in Singapore at the convention.

The Singapore Toy, Game and Comic Convention takes place from Sep 12 to 13. Tickets start from S$19 for one day and S$28 for both. The VIP package is priced at S$100, which includes priority entry, 3 fast passes for the Walk Of Fame, and the Unicorno. Tickets are on sale now. Visit here for more ticketing details.
