Singapore’s very own 24 Hour Comics Day
This is going to be very last minute. So last minute, in fact, that signups for the onsite version of it has closed. But here goes…
2 very kind gentlemen by the name of JF Koh and Lim Cheng Tju are organising Singapore’s very first 24 Hour Comics Day! It’s going to be held at School of Thought with sponsored food from Food for Thought (where I first learnt of this event). Basically what you do is you get together a team (or just yourself) and attempt to get a full length comic out by the end of 24 hours. This time it’s going to run from 2nd October (tomorrow) 10 am Singapore time, till Sunday.
As mentioned, signups for the event itself has been closed (being limited to only 24 participants!!) but you can still register here, and then do it in the comfort of home or wherever. Maybe someone has a nice big place the runoff could go to…
So, who’s going to try this at home! Or are you going down? Our very own resident artist is retired, and I doubt we can get him to budge…
