Singapore and Malaysia Virtual Fan Festival returns for expanded 2nd show

With the Singapore Comic Con (and pretty much every event) taking a hiatus this year, the Singapore and Malaysia Virtual Fan Festival (SMVFF) returns for a second round to save the day!

The 2nd edition of the SMVFF in 2020 takes place on 5 and 6 December. It features more guests, panels, commissions, merchandise, and others. Headlining is comic book legend Chris Claremont. Joining him are luminaries such artists Nick Bradshaw and the returning Arthur Adams.

The first edition of the SMVFF took place in June this year. While that had only one stream, the 2nd SMVFF will now have multiple streams. If something isn’t up your alley, you can always check out what’s going on in the other streams.

You can catch the panels at the main stream here: https://www.facebook.com/myccplay/

Or watch the Artist Alley panels here: https://www.facebook.com/singaporecomicscommunity/

Finally, Artist Alley participant Pink Ponk Comics is organising their own live stream at https://www.facebook.com/pinkponkcomics/. This features local amateur artists either published under Pink Ponk Comics, or are self-published.

SMVFF is finalising the schedule of the panels, and you can find details as they are confirmed at the links above. You can find a rough guide to the programme right here:

Participants can win a copy of Star Wars Heir to the Empire #1 (the first comic book appearance of Grand Admiral Thrawn) worth US$150.

The Singapore Comics Community and MY Comics Community and partners Asterisk Academy, KL are organising the the Singapore and Malaysia Virtual Fan Festival.
