Advance ticket sales for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story start Nov 28
Advance ticket sales for the upcoming Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will start at 10am on Nov 28 for Citibank cardholders, Disney announced on Friday (Nov 25).
And these aren’t any normal tickets, these are for the Dec 14 7pm screening on IMAX 3D at Shaw Theatres – which will make you among the first in the world to catch the movie. Rogue One opens for general release on Dec 15.
If IMAX 3D isn’t your thing, tickets for all other screenings will go on sale on Nov 29 at 12.01am. Tickets for all screenings, including the one on Dec 14, can be bought at the respective cinema’s online stores.
While this might be the movie event of the year, especially after that epic trailer, hopefully the ticket rush will not be as bad as the recent Coldplay situation – despite Citibank also being involved. That said, keep your finger on the blaster trigger – I think those tickets will sell like BB8 toys at last year’s Force Friday.
