Road to Comic-Con: The Journey of 9 Thousand Miles
And so, it has begun. A journey of 9 thousand miles, as the Nuzgul flies (as planes fly, well, things aren’t quite as direct as we’d hope). It hasn’t really sunk in, and I’m sitting here a little in a daze. Is it really happening? Am I really packed? How on earth will I be able to go for everything I want to go without cloning myself?
All problems which SDCC noobs face – and since it’s our virgin con (science conferences don’t count, geeky or not) we’re definitely feeling a little over our head. But hey – the schedules have been planned, the autograph tables have been kinda thought about, and then we’ll see where we go from here.
But still, this is definitely going to be epic – our plane had to take the long way round to avoid a huge tropical storm, and tomorrow we’ll be on the train (hopefully with Kieron Gillen) all the way to San Diego!
We’ve already run into Artgerm on the way to LA, who was very kind and shared a few words with us. We hope to see him there at the artist’s alley!
And here we go – raring to go… and raring to sleep.
