Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood, a beat’em up set in the World Of Darkness universe is now available, developers NACON and Cyanide have announced. You can get it on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, as well as on the Epic Game Store for PC.
In Earthblood, you play as Cahal, a werewolf, or Garou, from the Fianna tribe. Cahal is forced into exile after losing control of his devastating rage. But after years away, fate brings Cahal back to his former tribe, which is in mortal danger. He must fight again to find his family and save Gaia, mother Earth, from Endron International. The corrupting Wyrm controls Endron, which is ravaging the planet’s resources. Cahal must stop Endron from leaving despair wherever it operates, and threatening all living beings.
As Cahal, you can transform into three forms, allowing you to fit it to your play style:
- Homid Form: Used for stealthily neutralising guards and hacking into your enemies’ defences.
- Lupus Form: Ideal for exploration and infiltration.
- Crinos Form: Unleash your rage and sow chaos in the enemy’s ranks.
Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood is the first action-RPG adapted from the eponymous horror setting. You can find out more about the game here.
