Another day, and possibly the last report on Licence2Play. The daily coverage is not surprising, given that the event is run by the events arm of the SPH, the publisher for most of the local press. This time with The New Paper we move on from Starcraft II and learn more about FIFA Online 2 and other fun things the family could have had experienced in the event. Of course the event is now over, so hopefully those who went down had a good time.
Anyone else actually bemused by the short form of the event name – L2P? I don’t believe it actually has positive connotations. I wonder if they submitted the name through a focus group first. Of gamers.
