Telltale Games’ trailer for The Walking Dead: The Final Season brings the emotions
It’s been a long journey for Clementine, and we’re finally into the final season of The Walking Dead (the game, not the comic). Publisher and developer Telltale Games and Skybound Entertainment have launched the official trailer for The Walking Dead: The Final Season. The new trailer gives gamers a glimpse into the upcoming season premiere, “Done Running”.
Us here at Here Be Geeks are huge fans of the series, especially the exceptionally amazing season 1. So we’re all pretty excited to see how Clementine’s story ends.
“The first person who taught me about survival was Lee. He taught me how to say goodbye.”
The new trailer shows off some of the new graphics, mechanics and characters in the series, which will be the final chapter in Clementine’s journey. It comes at a great time – the game will be released on Aug 14 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One across all regions. Nintendo Switch users will also get their hands on the games, except it’ll be released later this month for our region.
You can now pre-order the game at US$19.99 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. PS4 and Xbox One gamers who pre-order by today will also receive The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series Collection, which has the previous 19 episodes of Clementine’s tale. PC gamers who pre-order will instead get 10% off the retail price. And it’s “pre-order”, which means you gotta check out your shopping cart by the game’s release on Aug 14.
While The Walking Dead: The Final Season is still running on its Telltale Tools engine, the game looks better than before.
