Razer Phone 2 launches in Singapore 3 Nov; exclusive carrier Singtel offers more data, Hearthstone packs

The Razer Phone 2 will launch in Singapore on 3 Nov with Singtel as the exclusive carrier partner, it was announced on Tuesday (30 Oct). While you will be able to get the phone at Razer’s Online store at S$1,249, bundles for the Razer Phone 2 with Singtel will cost from S$98 to S$918, depending on your Combo plan.

Check out the price breakdowns below:

Singtel has one more plan, the Combo XO. Priced at S$78 a month, it comes with 18GB Local Data, Unlimited Singtel WiFi, 300 Mins + 300 SMS. With this plan, the Razer Phone 2 will cost S$398 – putting it kinda between Combo 3 and 6, except with a lot more data. (I mean, who needs unlimited calltime and SMS anyway?)

Having a great phone for gaming (and media consumption) might mean you spend more data while on the move – for example, Singtel says their Razer Phone costumers use two time more data than the average customer. With that in mind, Singtel is offering a promotional bundle which includes 6 months free of DATA X 4 add-on. Usually priced at S$19.90 a month, DATA X 4 quadruples the monthly data allowance for customers. That’s not all – signing up for a Combo 1 or 2 will net you 10 free Hearthstone card packs, while Combo 3, 6, 12 and XO will receive 20 free card packs and 1 Hero Skin (worth up to S$49).

“We are delighted to bring the new Razer Phone 2 exclusively to our customers,” said Vice President for Mobile Marketing and Sales at Singtel, Ms Gan Siok Hoon. “(With free 6 months of DATA X 4) they will have the huge data allowance and super-fast connectivity critical for mobile gaming.”

At Singtel’s Razer Phone 2 launch event at Singtel ComCentre on 3 Nov, costomers will get a first look at the new phone, as well as test it on Singtel’s network with Arena of Valor and Contra mobile gaming competitions. The first 100 to buy a Razer Phone 2 will also get a limited edition #TEAMRAZER Gaming Pack.

The Razer Sila. Needs more Chroma?

Singtel also launched a broadband service earlier this month aimed at gamers, the 1+1 Gbps Fibre Pro Gamer Bundle. The bundles comes with the recently-announced Razer Sila gaming router (worth S$409.90) and a subscription to the WTFast Gamer Private Network service. And if you get the Razer Phone 2 and the 1+1 Gbps Fibre Pro Gamer Bundle, you can save S$100 off the price of your Razer phone.
