Ace Angler comes to the Nintendo Switch July 21
If you’re stuck at home and missing the hardcore fishing action you got in the arcades with Ace Angler, you’re in luck: You can now fish all you want (outside of Animal Crossing) with Ace Angler for the Nintendo Switch.

Coming Jul 21, the Nintendo Switch version will feature “realistic” force feedback of casting the line and reeling in the fish with the Joy-Con “Rod Technique”. There’s also responsive HD vibration, where the rod responses when the fish takes the bait as though you’re fishing for real!

Developed under the supervisor of the Ace Angler team, the arcade fishing simulation game will feature the “Medal Mode”, as well as a single-player “Adventure Mode” with the Kappa brothers so you can capture all the biggest fishies.

There’s also “Competition Mode”, where up to 4 of you and your family and friends (as of right now, in the same household) can play together.

And if you’re super keen, Hori has also announced a special Joy-Con attachment just for Ace Angler.
There’s also going to be 220 fishes to be caught, so get ready to reel them in!
