STGCC: Leinil Yu speaks to TODAY’s Mayo Martin
I think this is the first time TODAY‘s done a feature on the Singapore Toy, Game and Comic Convention (I could be wrong) – but what better way to do it than introduce one of the biggest guests this year. returning guest from 2010, Leinil Yu himself (he did show up last year but on a more personal basis, which didn’t stop him from appearing on stage, heh). TODAY’s Mayo Martin spoke to fellow Filipino Leinil Yu and brought up a question that might have been on our minds at one point or another: “Do western companies hire Asian artists because they’re cheaper?”
Leinil’s also very certain about the amount that he owes his frequent collaborator Mark Millar – and he shows great taste as he selects his superhero movie of the summer. That makes it two for two for the articles we’ve featured!
