Epigram Books sets up pop up store – today only!
Chalk another one up to the “last minute post” list, but good things must share: Our favourite graphic novel imprint in Singapore, Epigram Books, has announced their very own “great one-stop holiday destination”: The Epigram Books Pop-Up Store!
Open from 11am to 5pm at Epigram Book’s office at Block 1008 Toa Payoh North #03-08, the pop-up store will allow bookworms, geeks and people who life to look at offices the chance to … Look at the Epigram office while shopping for some Christmas presents for loved ones – with books up to 70 per cent off (just make sure you bring cash, they don’t accept plastic).
Epigram’s famous NOTBOOKS – notebooks with personality aka crazy “Moleskins” – will also be on sale. See if you can find which matches your friends best … I spent quite a few minutes doing that.
For a bigger idea of what’s going to be available there, take a look at this list (which isn’t exhaustive, also, some of the books haven’t been released). There’s really something for everyone, from cookbooks to comics to children’s books and art books.
And if you don’t know how to make your way there, here’s a map that you can use: It’s pretty near Braddell MRT, and if you know where SPH is, you’re pretty safe. Bring all your friends!
And … That’s not all! Epigram Books is keeping Saturday busy for all by bringing some of the names behind the graphic novels at Epigram Books out for a meet-the-creators event. It’s held in held in conjunction with BooksActually
x Sculpture Square / Art + Design Market, and Miel, Oh Yong Hwee, Koh Hong Teng and Drewscape will be there for the three graphic novels already launched. You can find out more and RSVP here.
