The final season of Game Of Thrones will come in … 2019

With the final season of HBO’s epic Game Of Thrones in the midst of filming, it is with no surprise that we will end up having to wait for at least a whole year before we can find out who will claim the Iron Throne. HBO has confirmed that the six-episode 8th season will premiere in Singapore in 2019 (same time as the US, of course).

The final season will be written by David Benioff & D.B. Weiss, Bryan Cogman and Dave Hill, with episodes directed by David Benioff & D.B. Weiss, David Nutter and Miguel Sapochnik.

While you wait, you can always rewatch the previous seasons of Game Of Thrones on HBO GO or watch them on HBO On Demand (StarHub TV 602). There will also be a marathon telecast of the latest season of GAME OF THRONES, Season 7, on the weekend of January 20 and 21, from 11am on HBO SIGNATURE (StarHub TV Ch 603).
