A few more days till our inaugural Journeyman League tournament, and we’ve got even more factions catching up to the two dragons in terms of paintedness. First up, Wil’s been pretty darn active with more painted models for his factions, this time Dhunia’s very own trolls. Thankfully (for me and the motherland) Alvin also makes [...] Imagine finding yourself caught out in the thunderstorm, lightning briefly illuminating dark streets, sheets of rain buffeting you as you ran for shelter. Imagine ducking into a gloomy church, sheltering against the storm, and then finding yourself trapped. You now have to solve a serious of complex puzzles, searching high and low for hints and [...] One of the things that I love about miniature wargaming is that you get to paint your minis. Not all people feel that way though, and any method to make painting more fun or rewarding is a good thing in my book. Which is why I’m sucha big fan of the Journeyman League. Giving [...] You might not know what it is if I referred to it as the Real Escape Game, but some of you might have played some variant of it before. Run by, it seems, the very same folk who run it in Japan, Vivid Creations and SCRAP, Real Escape Game will run at CHIJMES [...] Privateer Press’ Longest Night Tournament was supposed to be a Halloween event, but it’s nice to be able to hold events when it’s best for the players around. And besides, technically the winter solstice is the longest night, so it’s nice to have a Christmas event… even if for some reason Zombies are involved… [...] |
