A Sea of Red

Hey guys, Kakita here! Not much of a Wednesday Workshop today, I’m afraid. I’ll be overseas during this period so there might not be as much opportunity to do as many workshop wednesdays… until then, hope you enjoy a picture of some of my Khador. 🙂

Here’s some of the ‘original flavour’ Khador. My red used to start off with a liche purple/scab red blend, but Sanguine base serves the same exact purpose with a lot less work. That’s how the red shadows are all nice and deep. Generally I also highlight up to blood red/khador red base to keep the red a bit more sedate but in my recent attempts I’ve been trying out various red builds; suck as the urban multijack kit seen in the middle. The red in that one was built up from battlefield brown -> skorne red -> khador red base -> khador red highlight before unifying all the colours back with red ink again. This seems to give a much brighter, warmer red.

Hope you guys liked the models today! =)
