STGCC: Thank You Reed!

It has been an absolute blast today at the Singapore Toy Games and Comics Convention 2010 (STGCC) with the wonderful organisers arranging for some awesome interviews with Marvel artists. Today alone, I had the chance to chat with Leinil Yu, Giuseppe Camuncoli, Harvey Tolibao and Salvador Larroca and to say that I am absolutely starstruck would be an understatement.

Not only that, I am writing this post now in the Media Village of STGCC, so they have truly been very, very hospitable hosts and Singapore geek-dom is all that better with Reed Exhibitions at the helm of this Con.

HereBeGeeks would like to extend our deepest and humblest appreciation to Peter, Paul, Eugene, Melinda, Albert and Hsu Lin for their various roles in allowing us to experience this Con first hand. It has been a true rush just getting close to our superheroes and it’s all thanks to you.

We’ll have more articles in the week ahead about our various experiences, but for now, we’re just going to be fanboys (and geekgirl) and enjoy the con.

Peter Lin

His teenage years spent nursing a giant man-crush on Steve Rogers, the first Captain America, Peter naturally found himself drawn to many other heroes who depicted strong, manly qualities, including the honour-bound warrior Worf, first Klingon in Starfleet, and the muscular rock hard abs of The Thing.
