Superstar Comic Book Artist Olivier Coipel will be at STGCC 2014

It’s been a while since the first wave of guests for this year’s Singapore Toy, Games and Comic Convention (STGCC) was announced with Humberto Ramos being the biggest name in that list. With just over 31 days to go, some fans were worried that Ramos would be the only major international superstar coming down for this year’s event.
They need not have been concerned. This afternoon, on the STGCC website, the next wave of guests was announced, and this included one of Marvel’s best artists Olivier Coipel! Though Coipel has recently provided art for the Inhumanity, X-Men and Guardians of the Galaxy titles, he is probably best known for his amazing work on the 2012 crossover event Avengers VS X-Men where he designed the Phoenix Five costumes.
Coipel, of course, was not the only guest announced today. We’re happy to report that David Mack, creator of Kabuki, will be making a return after his debut last year, our kuya Harvey Tolibao, who is always welcome back to our shores, and of course Cameron Stewart, who’s presence was one of STGCC’s worst kept secrets after we found out about it.
