Looks like Gotham is safe for now: The Caped Crusader himself, Batman, has turned his attention to City Square Mall to rid it of criminals and injustice, and it’s going to be fun for the whole family.
From Sep 4 to Oct 4 – with the school holidays right in there – City Square Mall will be hosting an “action-packed” live show featuring the World’s Greatest Detective himself battling against his arch nemesis, the Joker.
And Batman isn’t all about battling – he’s here to meet his fans. With a minimum spend of S$50, shoppers can redeem a meet and greet pass to take a photo with the Dark Knight an hour ahead of the show. However, passes are limited to 50 per session, as Batman really can’t keep grimacing for that long.
He also isn’t the only attraction: The DC Universe is big and varied, and young adventurers who think they have the chutzpah to fight supervillains alongside the Justice League can try out the “DC Comics Justice League Adventure” obstacle course. A minimum spend of S$30 allows you to redeem an Adventure pass at the L2 Customer Service Counter, and those who complete the course will be rewarded with DC Super Heroes stickers. Only 200 passes are available a day.
There’s also displays featuring Batman’s legacy, together with the costumes of other superheroes on show, and a photo booth. Don’t have your own costume for the photo booth? Why not redeem a pass and take part in making your own Batman mask every weekend at 4pm. Shoppers who spend at least S$250 (or S$350 if you include NTUC FairPrice receipts) can redeem a Justice League stationery set and exclusive foldable storage box.
