3 of us here at HereBeGeeks.com would like to present a very warm welcome to Sarah Coldheart – who’s very kindly volunteered to contribute her writing talents to our humble repository for all things geeky. Other than being able to school us in the art of designing a website, Sarah’s a writer by trade, and is even the municipal liaison for the Singapore chapter of NaNoWriMo and Script Frenzy. Well versed in many things geeky, and also known as the one who gave Gail Simone a merlion (plushy, not the fountain), I think our comic book reviews are going to be in good hands. Here’s Sarah with a few words:
Hi everyone, if you’ve been online at various writing sites, you might have chanced upon me before. Or if you visit the local comic stores in Singapore and noticed a girl who’s particular in getting both covers of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, that’s probably me.
Besides writing, I’m definitely around at comic and manga conventions in my various disguises. I’ve done Batgirl (Cassandra Cain version), Rogue from X-men, a Power Ranger and much more! In my latest incarnation, I was The Question for Free Comic Book Day.
Oh heck yeah, I’m a cosplayer too so you’ll be sure I’d be taking note of the characters in the comics book I read in detail. When I’m not making costumes or writing posts, I’ll be available on twitter at @sarahcoldheart. I hope you guys will find my reviews informative and entertaining!
