The Rock shows the dangers of high-rise buildings in Skyscraper trailer
Fresh off the very successful Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle, The Rock is back in Skyscraper, this time battling gravity and acrophobia in, well, a Skyscraper. You can check out the trailer above.
High-stakes action-thrillers don’t get more high tension than this – set in the world’s tallest, “safest” building, Skyscraper stars Dwayne Johnson as former FBI Hostage Rescue Team leader and US war veteran Will Ford. Ford now assess security for skyscrapers, and he’s sent to China (in what looks like Hong Kong) to do his security job-thing on what’s touted to be the safest, tallest building in the world. Now, doing that is just inviting hubris, and it comes – the building is set on fire, and Ford becomes a wanted man. So he must find those responsible, rescue his family, clear his name and clear some very long jumps before the building collapses.
Skyscraper also stares Neve Campbell (Party Of Five), Pablo Schreiber (Orange Is The New Black), Byron Mann (Arrow), Hannah Quinlivan (Moon River), Noah Taylor (Preacher), Roland Møller (Atomic Blonde) and Chin Han (Masters Of The Sea, yay!). It’s written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber (Central Intelligence, We’re The Millers).
