Netflix’s slate of Asian movies continues to expand, this time with Indonesian action-thriller The Night Comes For Us, which premieres globally on Netflix Oct 19. Written and directed by one-half of the Mo Brothers (Macabre, Killers, Headshot), Timo Tjahjanto, the movie promises to be yet another entry in Indonesia’s amazing action cinema catalogue.
The Night Comes For Us stars Joe Taslim (The Raid, Fast & Furious 6) as Ito, a former triad enforcer. His mission: To protect a young girl while trying to escape his former gang, after his mysterious disappearance set off a violent battle on the streets of Jakarta. Joining Taslim are actor and action coordinator Iko Uwais (The Raid, Merantau), Zack Lee (The Raid 2), Sunny Pang (Headshot) and Julie Estelle (Macabre, The Raid 2).
The Night Comes For Us will stream on Netflix starting October 19.
