Mel’s Muses: Gen Con 2016: Miniatures and More Miniatures

Miniatures! From painting them to miniature war games to boardgames, there are now tons of beautifully-detailed miniatures on sale and display at Gen Con 2016. Needless to say. this is one post with a ton of pix!

The plastic and metal miniatures in a lot of newly released games simply blew me away. Years ago, the only time you play with such minitures were in strategy wargames or fantasy wargames like Warhammer, now they can be found in almost every other board game on sale.

There were long queues for the latest Kingdom Death figures, 3D castles and ships for your miniatures.

Here we see Fantay Flight Games’ Game of Thrones boardgame pimped to the max with more gorgeous minatures.
