Telltale Games’ Batman 2, The Wolf Among Us 2 and The Walking Dead 4 announced
In a 12 min-long video, Telltale Games have unveiled their next three big games for the summer and 2018, starting with Batman: The Enemy Within – The Telltale Series on August 8. That’s like … less than a month away! These guys are insane. Following that will be two other comic-book related adventures, The Walking Dead Season 4 and The Wolf Among Us 2, both coming in 2018.
Batman: The Enemy Within – The Telltale Series will be a new five-part episodic adventure, starting with episode one, “The Enigma”. It will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC and Mac. Android and iOS devices will get the game later in 2017.
In this latest chapter, both Bruce Wayne and Batman will be forced into precarious new roles. The Riddler has returned to terrorize Gotham City, but his gruesome puzzles merely foreshadow an even greater crisis. With the arrival of a ruthless federal agent and the return of a still nascent Joker, Batman must navigate uneasy alliances while Bruce Wayne undertakes a perilous series of deceptions. Which of Batman’s new allies will you choose to trust? And how deep into the darkness will you let Bruce descend?
Those who played season one, Batman: The Telltale Series, can carry their choices over to season two. Season two will also include the “Crowd Play” feature first introduced in season one.
For season two, Troy Baker will return to voice Bruce Wayne, while Anthony Ingruber will continue as “John Doe” – aka The Joker.
And really, the excitement builds for The Wolf Among Us 2 – which us Mundies have been waiting for for ages. Meanwhile, season 4 of The Walking Dead will bring us back to controlling Clementine, and will be the final episode in the series. Expect to bawl your eyes out.
