Sony announces Grand Theft Auto V PS4 bundle for Singapore

This morning, at the official opening ceremony of Singapore’s premiere gaming convention, Mr. Hiroyuki Oda, Deputy President of Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia, announced that Singapore will be getting the Grand Theft Auto V PS4 bundle, joining Japan and Europe! In fact, we’re going to get the bundle on December 3rd, more than a week ahead of Japan!
But wait, there’s more! Check under the cut for the INSANE extras that come with the bundle.
Though it is not clear from the announcement if the bundle allows you to choose the Glacier White model or the Jet Black model of the PlayStation 4 (Europe provides the option for both, Japan only seems to have the Standard option) – what we do know is that our bundle comes with a 12-month PlayStation Plus membership, a 1-year extended warranty for PS4, and a PSN Prepaid Card worth $15. Considering the bundle’s suggested retail price is only $699, this is an EXTREMELY good deal.
All that being said, however, it’s not clear if our local bundle will include the $1 million of in-game currency that the other bundles in other regions are reported to have.
The remastered version of this highly acclaimed game, set to be released on November 18th, boasts an increased draw distance, higher resolution as well as denser traffic and an overhauled foliage and wildlife system. Even if you’re not interested in the game, you have to agree that just getting the console and the extras more than cover the price of the bundle.
So if you’ve yet to get a PS4, and you’re willing to wait slightly over a month, or if you’re looking for a Christmas present, this might just be the deal for you.
