Ryu & Chun-Li morph into Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid
Ryu and Chun-Li are headed to Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid! The two Street Fighter mainstays will the game in the upcoming Street Fighter Pack, released on May 25. Also coming is Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid – Super Edition, which includes all of the game’s DLCs so far, as well as exclusive items.

As for why Ryu and Chun-Li are morphin’, the story has it that Lord Zedd has weakened the Morphin Grid, breaking down the walls between realities. The two Street Fighters find themselves transported into the world of the Rangers, and each acquire a Power Coin. In Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid, Ryu and Chun-Li will face-off against fan-favourite Power Rangers and villains.
There will also be additional skins for Street Fighters Ryu and Chun-Li. The first skin revealed is the Ryu Angel Grove Class of ’93, which you can see in action below. Looking forward to the Chun-Li skins!
The Street Fighter Pack featuring Ryu and Chun-Li will be available on May 25 for US$12.50 for PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Steam and Stadia. You can also buy each character individually for US$5.99 each, but why would you? The Pack will include Ryu, Crimson Hawk Ranger; Chun-Li, Blue Phoenix Ranger; as well as exclusive skins. However, Singapore pricing will come later.
Meanwhile, Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid – Super Edition will launch digitally on May 25 with a physical boxed version in July. It will be sold for US$49.99 and also available on PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Steam and Stadia. In addition, Upgrade Kits to the Super Edition will also be available to those who already own Battle for the Grid. The Super Edition will contain the base game, Season passes 1-3, the Street Fighter Pack, and 4 bonus skins.
