PlayStation 4 Wireless Headset gets new white version in December 2018

Sony’s Wireless Headset for the PlayStation 4 is only available in black, and if you’re anything like me, you’d be wondering: “Eh, how come cannot match my white PlayStation 4 ah? White PS4 is nice what, why must then be black leh?” Good news: Things are about to change.

Sony Interactive Entertainment Hong Kong Limited Singapore Branch (SIES) announced 1 Oct that a new white version for the Wireless Headset will be available in December 2018, with a retail price of S$149.

Despite the new fancy colour, you’ll get all the usual good stuff the original Wireless Headset had for gaming, including “high-fidelity 7.1 virtual surround sound”. Using the bundled wireless adapter for the PS4, users can use the headset to chat with friends, and broadcast their gameplay with the PS4 Share button. And if you’re one of those with the PSVR, the Wireless Headset is also compatible with that, by using the 3.5mm audio cable included in the bundle (a little less wireless, sadly).

It’s pretty much a pretty new colour for the headset, so here’s lots of photos of the new colour from every imaginable angle. If you want any angles other than these, you gotta buy it!
