Days Of Play 2019 is the best time to renew your PlayStation Plus membership

The PlayStation Network Days Of Play event is back again, this time with one deal you don’t want to miss – especially if you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber. So for 11 days – from 7 to 17 June 2019 – it’s time to get your credit cards ready!

This year’s Days Of Play event comes with a 30% discount on the PlayStation Plus Membership on both 3 month and 12 month packages, with the 3 month offer only applying to those without an active PS Plus membership. For now, the 12 month package costs S$30.73, or S$2.56 a month.

You can also purchase a PS Plus 12-Month Membership Card at PlayStation Authorised Dealers or a Sony Store, and get an extra 3 months of membership if you redeem by 17 June. Qishan sells the card at S$47, with turns out to be about S$3.13 per month – prices should vary somewhat from store to store.

And yes, that means that the 12 month online package is a better deal.

But why rush to renew now?

Because from Aug 1, prices for PlayStation Plus subscriptions will increase. The 12-month recurring payment plan will increase to S$53.90 (S$4.49 a month), the 3-month recurring plan will increase to S$21.90 (S$7.30 a month) and the 1-month recurring will increase to S$8.90 a month.

Membership discounts aren’t the only reason to dive into the Days Of Play event – many games are going on discount, only on the online store. More than 400 titles will go on sale, including best sellers such as Days Gone (34% off), God of War (50% off), Marvel’s Spider-Man (50% off).

The PlayStation Asia Official Facebook page has also launched PlayStation™ Network Ultimate Gamer Trivia”. New posts will go up at 5pm each day, and members can participate in a trivia game. Participants stand to win an exclusive PS4 theme and a PlayStation Store in-cart discount voucher.

You can access the game here. You’ll need a Facebook account to play.

And finally, don’t forget the PlayStation 4 Days Of Play Limited Edition 2019 (1TB HDD), which is on sale at S$449.

This limited edition PS4 features a smooth Steel Black colour on the top layer of the console and a dark grey on the bottom. It also features the iconic PlayStation Shapes embossed in silver on the top surface. The DualShock 4 wireless controller comes in a matching bicolour, featuring Steel Black on the front and dark grey on the back, as well as the silver PlayStation Shapes on the buttons.

Finally, other deals include S$20 off a new DualShock 4 controlller, a PlayStation 4 Pro with free 2nd controller at S$599, and the PS4 Starter Pack with free 2nd controller at S$479.

PlayStation Network Days Of Play is from 7 to 17 June 2019.
