GW seems to like dropping bombs these few days. We started out with the Finecast announcement yesterday (with another price hike), which seagues into Maelstrom Game’s giant and depressing announcement today, that there’re no longer allowed to ship Games Workshop items outside of the European region. I recommend checking out the Finecast and Maelstrom Games [...] The past two weeks of minis news have been mainly teasers, with talk of Warmachine Unbound, as well as some Necron rumours (which might have to be taken with a pinch of salt). Warmachine: Unbound sounds like PP’s answer to Warhammer 40k’s Apocalypse- huge battles with 3 or more warcasters. Premiering in the next NQ, [...] This week is Khador’s week, as Kommander Harkevich and his partner in Jack-wrecking crime Black Ivan are previewed in Privateer Press’ home page. Games Workshop also has Storm of Magic, some teasers on a new Warhammer Fantasy releasing in a few months. [...] My Big Mek gears have been going in overdrive recently, with the Sentikan/Kantinel mods, and now these: Kustom Ork Walkers made from the Deffkoptas from assault on black reach minis. I had extra legs after making my Uni-kans, and I never really did like the Deffkopta aesthetic (don’t ask me why, for some reason [...] If any Warhammer Fantasy player hasn’t seen the blitz of Tomb Kings on this week, then it’s very possible that they’ve been slumbering under the very same Khemrian Sands that the Tomb Kings have risen from.
